Atlassian has announced a price increase to ensure that they create the greatest possible value for their customers. This increase allows Atlassian to continue funding R&D and accelerate our investments across our product line!

Atlassian has taken the pricing leap for Server and Cloud products, to be effective on October 12, this year.

How about Data Center?

Data Center prices are unaffected by this pricing increase, however, Atlassian have moved to eliminate the Server to Data Center upgrade credit for Jira Software at the 500 user tier.

Updates on Atlassian’s Product Investments

Atlassian has made some significant improvements over the last year including a UI refresh across server products (Confluence Server IOS and Android apps), delegated administration and Priorities per project. They also launched the Enterprise release designation for Jira Software, Confluence & Jira Service desk, did an overhaul of their cloud infrastructure, and raised the Jira and Confluence cloud limit from 2000 to 5000 users! And last but not least, the announcement of a powerful incident management solution – with the acquisition of OpsGenie and launch of Jira Ops!

You can continue to benefit from the existing license model: Atlassian allows you to create a renewal quote at the current pricing before the October 12th 2018, after which the quote can be valid for about 90 days! 

You’ll be able to renew at your current pricing for up to 3 years. We can also help Atlassian Cloud customers renew for up to 1 year on the current pricing structure.
