Administration apps support the background operation of Atlassian apps and are not “application or functional” in nature. Examples include cleaning up instances, copying configurations, apps that support the health of the overall application.
Administration is the 11th largest category in the marketplace (out of 27) with 61,000 instances. Administration’s 61,000 instances represent 5% of the marketplace total.
The top paid administration app is Project Configurator for Jira by Adaptavist with 4,500 instances while the fastest growing of the top 5 is Configuration Manager for Jira by Botron with growth of 23% over the past 12 months.
The top free administration app is Integrity Check for Jira by Botron with 6,000 instances while the fastest growing of the top 5 is Sentry for Jira by Sentry with growth of 70% over the past 12 months.
Botron is the largest vendor in administration with 14,000 instances giving it a market share of 22%
