Did you know? – The Atlassian Marketplace can be an overwhelming place at times with over 1,500 vendors offering nearly 4,000 apps. Furthermore, with app self-categorization it can be hard to find what you’re really looking for when you search for, say, a diagramming or reporting application. This is where Blended Perspectives’ Marketplace Analytic Research Service (MARS) comes in.
Welcome to the new Apps in the club! When we started our analysis over a year ago, we wanted to understand if there was any major Pareto effect in the marketplace. Also we needed a way to determine who we should prioritize in adding to our categories. As a reminder vendors self select their categories on the Atlassian Marketplace. It’s certainly democratic yet it can mean if you want to know who the real players are in any category, there is a lot of “noise”.
This webinar highlights one main use case – accessibility using Unstoppable from Addteq. Making Jira and Confluence more accessible to all users is very important because by law in many jurisdictions it must be so on public and internal web sites; so why not Atlassian?
